(Miami Beach – September 1, 2021) Power Access, the nonprofit organization that produces the annual South Beach Jazz Festival in Miami Beach is excited to announce their collaboration with The Rhythm Foundation for the 2022 event. The festival will take place in various locations in Miami Beach including the North Beach Bandshell, Lincoln Road, and Pride Park during the weekend of January 7-9, 2022. The Rhythm Foundation will bring in local, regional and national artists that continue the festival’s mission to promote disability awareness, access and inclusion in the arts through world class Jazz for the 6th Annual Festival.
The two organizations worked together for the 2021 South Beach Jazz Festival in providing a safe and sound venue for the headliner, Matthew Whitaker. Whitaker performed at the North Beach Bandshell, a venue the Rhythm Foundation manages.
David New, the founder of the South Beach Jazz Festival explains, “We are thrilled to work with the Rhythm Foundation for our 6th Annual South Beach Jazz Festival. Last year, their role in making our headlining concert a success under challenging circumstances was crucial and they made it happen. We are confident that bringing them on board in a larger capacity will only bring us more success.”
“The Rhythm Foundation is proud to collaborate with the 22’ edition of the South Beach Jazz Festival. After the brilliant success opening the Bandshell to the public in 2021 with the Festival’s presentation of Matthew Whitaker, we have no doubt about the importance of this festival and the potential of our working together to continue growth in Miami Beach”
James Quinlan, Director, The Rhythm Foundation.
